Before you call
Almost never. Most locks open with picks or a bypass and keep working afterwards. If a lock genuinely has to be drilled, you hear the cost before we start — never after.
It depends on the lock, the hour and the suburb. Tell us what you’re locked out of and you get a price on the phone, before anyone drives out.
Our locksmith carries a Queensland security licence and photo ID and shows both before touching the lock. Please do ask to see them.
We can cut a new key on site, or rekey the lock so the lost key stops working. If that key had an address tag on it, rekey.
